Tufting Glue – Flexible PVAc

Composition: VAE/PVAc dispersion adhesive

Note: In the tufting community, the term “PVC Glue” is often used.
However, this is misleading – real PVC is a plastic, not an adhesive.
Our White Tufting Glue is based on flexible VAE/PVAc, specially developed for tufting projects.
It contains no PVC and no natural latex.

Store in a cool, dry place (10–35 °C).
Keep sealed when not in use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid direct sunlight and frost.
Use in a well-ventilated area.

• Strong adhesion
• Flexible when dry
• Solvent-free, non-flammable
• Suitable for tufting projects

Apply evenly to the back of your finished rug using a brush or spatula.
Let dry for 24–48 hours at room temperature.
For faster results, use a heat gun or dryer on a low setting.
Once fully dried, your tufting loops will be permanently secured.

Our Tips:
• Apply the glue about 1–2 mm beyond the tufted area to fully secure the yarn.
• If you plan to continue working right away (e.g., trimming or backing), remove any excess glue along the edge first.
• Please note: The first opening of the bucket can be a bit stiff. Use pliers to carefully lift the safety seal, then open by hand. This avoids spilling the adhesive.
